In this role, you will define, plan and ensure implementation of product marketing strategies for E-Mobility Marketing Communications in Rochester Hills, Michigan, meeting business targets and aligning with global product strategy. With Marketing & Communications being established as a centralized function, you are having the opportunity being part of building and shaping the discipline. You will be a true partner to the Regional and Channel Sales teams in North America. We are accountable to, and responsible for driving enablement, contributing to revenue and relationships with our ecosystem of customers, prospects and partners. You will work closely with our Product Portfolio Marketing Team, our Regional Team (specifically the Channel Sales Team) as well as other functions across Marketing and Communications teams to align channel marketing efforts with revenue goals and priorities. With Channel Marketing being a relatively new discipline within the Marketing mix, you will work closely with the Marketing and Communications Leadership Team as well as the Channel Sales Leader in the Region and your counterpart in Europe to develop the blueprint for that discipline.
Senior Business Communications Manager - Partner closely with our product marketing team to create and deliver training programs to educate channel partners on how we solve customer problems, benefits product features and joint value messages
- Develop and execute channel specific marketing activities (campaigns) that drive partner engagement, awareness and partner driven revenue for sales in a 2nd phase, you aim to build a strategic co-marketing and enablement plan for our largest alliance partner
- Tailor campaigns to resonate with different partner types and their respective target audiences
- Track and measure the effectiveness of channel marketing campaigns and programs, using data to make informed decisions
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead generation, pipeline attribution and partner engagement
- Plan and execute partner focused events, such as workshops, webinars, lunch and learns, and work in collaboration with our events team on co-sponsored trade shows
- University degree in Marketing or Business Administration and minimum of 8 years experience in a B2B (Saas) Marketing experience with a minimum of 4 years focused product marketing marketing or channel/ partnership marketing aligned role
- Experience in developing and executing partner focused marketing plans for mid size and large strategic partners including demand generation, lead nurturing and brand awareness campaigns
- Familiarity with channel partner ecosystems and an understanding of how to effectively manage and collaborate with partners
- Deep understanding of tailoring your marketing approach to different audiences including industry specific messages, marketing and customer success personas as well as decision maker and practitioner
- The role requires willingness to travel across North America
- Experience with martech tools including: Salesforce, Marketo, Tableau preferred
- The ideal candidate enjoys building (over time) both deep and wide channel marketing programs attracting partners into a thriving ecosystem, has a track record in working cross functionally across sales and marketing teams and loves both building from scratch and iterating on current programmatic elements
- They are skilled at building partner enablement communications, creating integrated co-marketing programs, hosting events and building deep and trusted relationships with their partner counterparts
