TechFlow, Inc. is hiring an experienced Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear (CBRN) Specialist who is knowledgeable, skilled, and experienced in the maintenance, repair, and training of CBRN decontamination, defense, detection and monitoring equipment. The ideal CBRN Specialist has experience with Biological Detection Systems, Portal Systems, Standoff Systems, and other associated military CBRN systems and technologies. The CBRN Specialist will operate well in austere environments, be willing to travel, and exercise personal accountability and communicate well. The candidate must be confident in performing tasks, servicing, and repairs of complex equipment independently with little to no supervision, while also being a clear and timely communicator when escalation is required, utilizing experience and sound judgment to support customer operations.


Responsibilities

  • Perform corrective and periodic maintenance in accordance with associated military Technical Manuals (TMs) and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) manuals and all applicable maintenance manuals, specifications, and procedures.
  • Repair or replace equipment set components on site, for equipment set components and follow proper part and component return for repair procedures and documentation through paper forms and electronic computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) or those established by the supervisor.
  • Make timely, accurate, and transparent annotation and documentation of maintenance, training, and logistics (part replacement and consumable use) within designated electronic systems and on-site/required manual paper forms where applicable and communicate seamlessly with Program and Contract Management team.
  • Provides technical program and equipment expertise of COTS CBRNE equipment
  • Recommends actions to resolve logistics management and operational problems with the goal of optimizing and improving current processes and systems.
  • Designs, implements, monitors, and assesses processes to train maintainers and users of systems/tools.
  • Creates, updates, and publishes a wide range of technical documents including, task-specific user manuals, policies, plans, equipment checklists, and other technical writings.
  • Conduct an inspection and assessment of all equipment and make a list of work orders for damaged, obsolete, and replacement equipment

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or 4-year degree equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience as a field service representative repairing advanced military (or comparable) systems, equipment, and/or platforms
  • Working understanding of logistics and sustainment for equipment
  • Experience walking users through user-level repair processes and procedures
  • Possess or have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Army Secret Clearance or higher
  • Willingness and eagerness to travel 75%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Military experience in the repair of highly complex, low-density systems for detection, mounted and dismounted reconnaissance, individual and collective protection, decontamination, and force protection against CBRNE threats for the United States Military
  • Experience in overseas operations, austere environments, and/or deployed as a part of government contracts or military deployments
  • Former Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technicians, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Specialist, and other advanced to include Aviation / Aerospace career fields with experience onsite and downrange
  • Very interested in candidates with maintenance experience: BIDS, Joint Biological Standoff Detection System (JBSDS); Joint Portal Shield (JPS); Joint Nuclear Biological Chemical Reconnaissance System Increment 2 (JNBCRS2); and Advanced Threat - Dismounted Reconnaissance System (AT-DRS); Dismounted Reconnaissance Sets, Kits and Outfits (DR SKO); Non-Intrusive Inspection Systems (NIIS); Entry Control Points (ECP); and the Nuclear, Biological, Chemical Reconnaissance Vehicle Sensor Suite and other related CBRN(E) associated systems as well as other related support equipment
  • 2-year technical degree (military or civilian) in electronics or military technical school and experience equivalent.
