We are seeking an experienced Chemical Engineer to join our established client. As a Chemical Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development, coordination, and optimization of complex projects aimed at improving products, processes, and techniques while ensuring the fulfillment of production commitments. You will be responsible for directing and monitoring various aspects of production, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and ensuring the efficient implementation of projects from start to finish.

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in chemical engineering.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of process control systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Project management and leadership abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Essential Duties:
  • Production Management: Direct and monitor productivity, process yields, and product and process performance to meet production commitments efficiently.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement improvements in production units to optimize utilization, including throughput, quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Project Development: Develop, plan, and coordinate projects from inception to completion, ensuring efficient implementation, timely completion, and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Operator Training: Train and develop operators in assigned activities and assist with technical problems, providing production supervision in the absence of the Production Leader.
  • DCS Management: Act as the System Manager for DCS (Distributed Control System) platforms and PIMS (Process Information Management System) data analysis package. Responsible for the evaluation, selection, installation, programming, and maintenance of new DCS equipment.
  • Business Unit Liaison: Serve as the manufacturing representative to the Business Unit, ensuring the timely introduction of new products, resolution of customer issues, and clarification of production capabilities.

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
