Needed an experienced formulator of epoxy and urethane coatings. This person will spend substantial time in hands-on epoxy and/or urethane formulation and testing. This individual will be responsible for providing timely and accurate solutions to multiple complex problems using considerable technical expertise and experience to solve/prevent problems that may arise.

The ideal person must have epoxy and/or urethane coatings experience additionally water-based chemistry would be a plus. This individual should have field experience with understanding of installation processes and ability to troubleshoot in the field.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN MIXING EPOXY AND URETHANES

• Batch mixing of epoxies and urethane coatings

• Develop new products and /or modify and improve existing products. Changes existing formulations to improve product costs

• Evaluate new raw materials and attend technical presentations from material suppliers

• Responsible for batch production from pilot scale up to process validation

• Quality control of products manufactured.

• Color matching experience is a plus

• Record keeping and documentation

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related major. Advanced degree is a plus.
