As a senior cabinet leader, the Chief Academic Officer (CAO) plays a pivotal role in realizing this mission and collaborates closely with all functional departments.

The Role

We're seeking a visionary executive who combines strategic thinking with strong business acumen to lead our academic affairs. The CAO will report directly to the President/CEO and bring exceptional strategic value through cross-functional collaboration. In this role, you will shape enriched, personalized learning experiences for our students.

Key Responsibilities

Champion innovative approaches to ensure exceptional student success.

Embrace the calling of educating the underprivileged and those facing life challenges, providing them with authentic opportunities to transform their lives.

Act as the primary academic affairs strategist, coordinating and executing our strategic plan.

Cultivate a clear academic vision, establish accountability, and create a performance-oriented structure.

Ensure that our institution is equipped to deliver an extraordinary teaching and learning experience, always prioritizing student success over institutional compliance.

Lead regulatory excellence that surpasses compliance, focusing on what's best for our students.

Align budgets, organizational resources, and competencies with strategic priorities.

Uphold the unique culture of the Academic Affairs department.

Assess program relevance, explore new opportunities, and ensure a well-coordinated roll-out.

Pave the way for the next generation of online education that combines education and entertainment.

Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and proposed litigation, proactively implementing effective solutions.

Serve as an academic liaison with accrediting bodies.

Foster faculty involvement in shaping innovative academic programs.

Utilize academic dashboards and metrics to assess progress and identify improvement opportunities.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, accrediting expectations, and guidelines, both on-campus and online.

Cultivate a dynamic academic environment, both online and on-campus.

Support and enhance our main campus operations.

Qualifications

Earned Doctorate or terminal degree in a discipline relevant to our institution, with teaching experience.

Experience in a proprietary college preferred or a strong understanding of "Financial and Administrative Responsibility."

Proven business acumen.

Passion for developing students and associates.

Outstanding communication skills as a representative of our institution.

High level of integrity and self-motivation.

Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Capable of fulfilling a hybrid, on-site leadership role.

Embraces unconventional thinking and focuses on possibilities.

A genuine commitment to a student-centric approach.

Salary: $220,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
