At Trayt Health, were seeking a seasoned and results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a strong financial background to join our executive team. The COO will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of our company and ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our health tech solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of healthcare and mental health innovation and contribute to our growth and success. This role will report to the CEO.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and execute the company's strategic vision and long-term goals.
  • Drive the development and implementation of operational strategies that align with the company's mission and objectives.
  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure the company's financial health and sustainability.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze financial data, and make recommendations for cost optimization and revenue growth.
  • Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.
  • Streamline internal processes and workflows to improve operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Implement the best practices in project management, quality assurance, and risk management.
  • Collaborate with the executives in the R&D teams to ensure the successful development and delivery of innovative solutions.
  • Ensure product quality, compliance with industry standards, and timely releases.
  • Build and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
  • Stay current with healthcare regulations and ensure that the company's operations and products comply with all relevant laws and standards.
  • Identify strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance the company's market position and offerings.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and regulatory bodies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you:

  • Have proven experience as a COO, VP of Operations, or in a similar executive leadership role within the health tech or healthcare industry.
  • Prior experience working with the board of directors and investors.
  • Hands-on experience leading M&A activities through deal closure.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent strategic planning and execution skills.
  • Previous track record of successfully driving the companys financial planning, funding, and budgeting.
  • Perform risk management by analyzing the organizations liabilities and investments.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in financial management and budgeting.
  • Control and evaluate the organizations fundraising plans and capital structure.
  • Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organizations operations.
  • Manage vendor relationships.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building capabilities.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with the law and companys policies.
  • Have 10+ years of experience in senior leadership roles, including hiring, coaching, and leading teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA, CPA, JD or similar advanced degree is a plus.
  • Start-up experience is a must.


Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Experience in the behavioral or mental health category


Pay Range:

  • Annual salary of $235K - $275K plus stock options
