CEO with a portfolio of several business entities is searching for a CoS. This newly created role demands exceptional efficiency and productivity to balance multiple demands across business divisions. Were searching for a highly qualified CoS to work closely with various executive team members, in conjunction with (and without direct supervision) the President. From Day 1, this person will have an immediate impact on our productivity by streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing project management, communicating objectives to departments, and tracking deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a business management role (preferably within a matrixed organization), with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration.

Objectives of this role

  • Oversee strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution.
  • Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation.
  • Review, design, and execute improvements to organizational structure; find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them.
  • Improve current processes and optimize organizational procedures for efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO/President, providing high-level strategic support.
  • Manage and coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company priorities and timelines.
  • Collaborate with leadership team to facilitate problem-solving and decision-making and effective communication and collaboration across the companys leadership team to ensure alignment and buy-in on key initiatives and decisions.
  • Facilitate the development of the agenda and presentation materials in partnership with the President and other stakeholders.
  • Lead the alignment of agenda, development of materials, and coordination of internal and external company-wide communications and meetings, partnering with the Marketing, Development, Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams and relevant business leaders as key stakeholders.
  • Conduct research and analysis on key business issues and trends, providing insights and recommendations to the executive C-team.
  • Drive operational excellence and efficiency by identifying opportunities to improve processes, systems, and tools.
  • Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders and executives within and outside of the organization (including directly managing relationships with our PR agency as part of owning external communications).
  • Serve as liaison with staff, executives, senior leaders, and President regarding company climate, investor relations, project updates, proposals, and planning.
  • Develop and build relationships with all employees for increased efficiency and responsiveness of existing operations and help define new operational strategies by working with President and other executives on special projects.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert, handling inquiries, developing action plans, and assisting with preparation and dissemination of communications.

Requirements

  • Seven or more years of experience in a business management, consulting, or executive role.
  • Experience in organizing and directing multiple teams and departments.
  • Experience in planning and leading strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (bilingual preferred: English/Spanish, or other languages).
  • Versatile abilities and extreme dedication to efficient productivity.
  • Masters degree in business administration or similar field.
  • Experience in data analysis and budget management.
  • Consulting experience, with a focus on operations management.
  • Proven success in a project management role.
  • Nimble business mind, focused on developing creative solutions.
  • Strong project-reporting skills, with focus on interdepartmental communications.
