Kidfit Childcare Specialists are responsible for working with children by helping to provide a fun, safe and educational environment. If you have child care skills and know safety and first aid techniques, you would be a valuable addition to our team. At Kenwood you can make a difference, this position interacts with and supervises children six months to pre-teen.

Duties

• Ensure proper procedures are followed during program activities, both with regard to safety and program guidelines.


• Lead special activities such as group games, arts and craft projects, birthday parties and other themed activities.


• Interact with children (Reads to or plays games etc.)


• Monitor group play activities


• Complete small and large art projects


• Clean toys, shelves, tables and chairs


• Re-Stock arts and craft materials, general supplies, snack boxes etc.


• Set up, lead and clean up monthly crafts, birthday parties and other special events


• Check members in and out of the child care facility


• Other duties as assigned

Candidate must pass a drug test and background check

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $10.00 to $13.00 /hour
