Hire Resolves client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Civil Engineer in Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site investigations and analyze data to assess the feasibility and potential impact of civil engineering projects.
  • Design, plan, and oversee the construction and maintenance of infrastructure such as roads, bridges, tunnels, and water supply systems.
  • Perform engineering calculations, prepare drawings, and create technical specifications for civil engineering projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that projects meet design specifications and adhere to building codes and regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, ensure compliance with budget and schedule, and address any issues or delays that may arise during the construction phase.
  • Conduct regular inspections to evaluate the quality of construction work and identify any potential issues or risks.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification.
  • 1-5 years of proven experience working on civil engineering projects, including design, construction, and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, building codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
