Hire Resolve is searching for a Civil Engineer with experience in drainage engineering to join our clients team.

The Civil Engineer will join our client's team, which is a leading civil engineering firm in the industry

The successful candidate could also work remotely from anywhere in the US.

As part of the team, the Civil Engineer will be involved in designing and supervising the construction of various projects related to water supply systems, flood management, and drainage systems. The role requires someone who is technically strong with excellent communication skills, as they will be liaising with stakeholders and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Designing and preparing engineering plans, specifications, and estimates related to water supply systems, flood management, and drainage systems.
• Conducting site inspections to ensure project compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Reviewing and approving design specifications and drawings prepared by other team members.
• Providing technical support to clients and team members during the project design and construction phases.
• Preparing project proposals, progress reports, and presentations.
• Developing project budgets and monitoring expenditures to ensure they are within budgeted amounts.
• Providing technical expertise on specific projects as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in drainage engineering and design.
• Professional Engineer designation.
• Strong knowledge of drainage design principles and software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
