Cohen Careers is supporting a small firm specializing in representation of employees in employment disputes throughout California.

Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for a Paralegal at an employment law firm located in San Diego, CA, with flexibility for some remote work. The Paralegal will assist the attorneys with various tasks, such as preparing legal documents, communicating with clients and other attorneys, conducting legal research, and managing files and deadlines.

Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Paralegal
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with legal terminology and court procedures
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

Preferred:
Experience in civil litigation
Knowledge of California legal procedures and regulations
Experience working with e-filing software
