Position Description

The Clinic Physical Therapist will join Moore MyoWorx at a critical time in the history of our company. The opportunity for impact is large and growing, and Moore MyoWorx is leading the transformation in the treatment of concussions, chronic and complex symptoms with intensive, patient-participant, value-based care.

The Clinic Physical Therapist will receive full training with ongoing mentoring and support for providing in-scope, evidence-based care within the Moore MyoWorx framework. Led by the Clinic Director, the Clinic Physical Therapist will be responsible for the thorough assessment and planned care of patients who live locally and those who travel in from across the US seeking Moore MyoWorx treatment. The Clinic Physical Therapist will work with clinic administration and lead a team of support staff that will educate and empower our patients to take back control of their lives from debilitating symptoms stemming from concussion, chronic and complex conditions.

Candidate Responsibilities

  • Thorough Assessment: The Clinic Physical Therapist will work within the Moore MyoWorx assessment model utilizing comprehensive history, observation and objective measurements to provide patients with an understanding of their condition and symptoms and how to address it/them. This will include providing regular reassessments and generating written reports and information as required. The Clinic Physical Therapist may also communicate with the Clinic Director, other team members and other key stakeholders and healthcare providers as directed by the patient.
  • Treatment Plan Oversight: The Clinic Physical Therapist will work with other providers and support personnel to design, execute and monitor treatment plans utilizing Moore MyoWorx equipment, exercise, adjunct care and strategies that are deemed to be safe and effective for each individual patient. This may include working with PTAs, Exercise Therapists, and/or, Clinic Assistants in support roles. At MyoWorx success isnt defined by how many patients you treat. Success is high quality care measured by: (1) patient outcomes, (2) patient satisfaction, and (3) employee satisfaction.
  • Support Organizational Strategy: We invite the Clinic Physical Therapist to support our goal of continuous improvement, sharing best practices and improvement opportunities with others on their clinical team as well as, MyoWorx Canada. Candidates with specific experience and expertise in this regard will have greater input into those initiatives and will have opportunities for growing roles in these domains as we grow.
  • Participate in and Support Promotional Initiatives: The Clinic Physical Therapist will join the Clinic Director and the rest of the Moore MyoWorx team engaging in community support and marketing initiatives for the general promotion of Moore MyoWorx and to educate the public about the opportunity we can provide them in restoring their hope for pain-free, functional lives.

Requirements
