MR Clinical Science Leader North America
You lead a team of ~15 MR clinical scientists who create value for Philips by providing clinical science insights through co-creation and discovery, clinical research support, proposition roadmaps, and evidence creation support.
Your role:
Lead and inspire the team to effectively collaborate and co-create with customers by establishing an extensive network of contacts in the healthcare/MR community through regular customer contacts.
Identify key opinion leaders and luminary sites as collaboration partners. Collaborate with medical doctors and physicists of Clinical Science sites in exploration and evaluation of new clinical applications of MR.
Be involved in clinical value proposition, evidence creation and proof points collection for market preparation of new products. Support writing of white papers, works-in-progress brochures, leaflets, slides and video material on clinical applications for use by the sales and marketing teams.
Develop an in-depth knowledge of internal processes for safety assessments and surveillance, complaint analysis, and benefit-risk assessments across product platforms.
Manage and interface clinical science activities with other stakeholders in Philips (marketing, sales, development). Keep up to date with innovations in MR technology and medical trends, via scientific literature, symposia and international conferences.
You're the right fit if:
Youve acquired 10+ years of industry or academic experience in MRI or related field.
Your skills include a fundamental knowledge of MRI and hands-on experience with MRI equipment (expertise on Philips equipment is strongly preferred). You have strong people management and project leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate the activities of colleagues and external partners.
You have a Ph.D. (or equivalent work experience) in a technical discipline such as biomedical engineering, medical physics, or similar scientific, technical, or engineering field with strong research and evidence collection skills. You have experience in publishing and presenting scientific work to the medical community, especially experience in writing scientific papers for international journals.
You can communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and the medical community about clinical applications of MRI.
