We have an opportunity for a Clinical Services Lead that focuses on providing clinical oversight to all regulatory entities and oversees and delivers clinical educational and learning opportunities throughout our system. This role will also guide, support, and provide or coordinate training in all clinical components of the services provided by National Lutheran Communities & Services. This position will provide overall guidance, insight, advice, and mentorship to clinical leadership without involvement in individual campus operational issues. This role will be onsite, traveling between the entities. Requirements - Registered Nurse with an active license in good standing for the State of Maryland or Virginia
- Bachelors degree in nursing or health-related field required
- Positive experience in teaching adult learners
- Current CPR certification required
- Willingness to become certified to teach BLS and First aide
- Experience in geriatric and/or subacute nursing, with supervisory and leadership skills of others
- Experience and ability to effectively utilize the Microsoft Office suite, as well as other electronic productivity tools and electronic health records
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Ability to organize, provide leadership, communicate, and coach staff
- Must possess strong written and oral communication skills; and the ability to maintain confidential information
- Ability to communicate at all levels, provide clinical instruction, and train other team members is required
- Three (3) years of experience working in education preferred
