UNIFI is starting services in the Evansville, IN area spring 2024!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Function in a supervisory capacity and provide oversight and training for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs)on their patients caseload
  • Provide ongoing support and training to the patients family/caregivers
  • Provide ongoing support and training to other individuals within a patients Health Resource Community (i.e., pediatrician, OT, SLP, etc.)
  • Strong communication and collaboration with the Programming BCBA regarding Protocol Modification
  • Performs other duties assigned by the Director of Clinical Integration

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must display original thinking and creativity, meet challenges with resourcefulness, and develop innovative approaches and ideas
  • Must be willing and able to effectively work with an interdisciplinary team to manage patient care
  • Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire, engage, and coach others
  • Excellent behavior management, instructional, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, oral and written
  • Ability to work with a variety of patient profiles ranging from ages 1-12 years
  • Flexible availability including Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
  • Computer skills
  • Valid drivers license and clean and safe driving record
  • CPR/BLS certification-- UNIFI will pay for certification and recertification

Experience and Education

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with maintained credentials for a minimum of two-years
  • Must be a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the state you will be practicing if that state has a mandated licensure (i.e., New York, Kentucky, etc.).
  • 8-hour Supervision Certificate
  • Proficiency in the implementation of ABA principles and methodology, including skills acquisition strategies and behavior reduction strategies

Work Environment

The Implementation BCBA will work in a variety of environments, including but not limited to the therapy clinic; the patients home or school; and other community locations on an as needed basis.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties.

Requires the ability to operate standard office equipment, including a computer and iPad. Requires the ability to talk and hear (both in-person and on the phone).

While performing the duties of the job, the Implementation BCBA will be required to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; stand; walk; run; stoop; sit on floor; quickly transition from sitting to standing; climb stairs; use hands and fingers to feel, grab, handle, and type; and arms to reach and lift.

Travel

Implementation BACBs will be expected to use their personal vehicle to travel to therapy locations. Travel time between therapy sessions will be paid for by UNIFI. Mileage between therapy locations can be expensed. BCBAs will be assigned to a zip code to minimize travel distance. Staff will not provide transportation to patients.
