Woodhaven continues to strive to find new ways to serve our clients and to utilize the skills of our staff. This has led Woodhaven to create a position of Clinical Tech. The Clinical Tech will assist in the coordination, planning and delivery of services to our clients.
In this position you will perform some roles of a CDCA such as facilitating groups and some duties of a Behavior Tech such as assisting clients as they have meals, do activities and supervise them when they are not in a structured group or counseling setting. From time to time, you may be called on to do an assessment of someone coming in for treatment.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with our clients on such a variety of levels ensuring they grow and progress in their journey to recovery.
Woodhaven is a voluntary, adult AOD treatment facility located near downtown Dayton. Woodhaven is convenient to major highways and the RTA.
This role will require the Clinical Tech to work evenings (approximately 3 pm to 11:30 pm ) and weekends. Besides the base rate, a $1 per hour differential for time worked on Saturdays and Sundays.
Schedule will be Wednesday to Sunday or Saturday to Wednesday (40 hours).

Requirements
An active CDCA is required to maintain employment as a Clinical Tech.
Effective communication and crisis intervention skills are required.
Knowledge of a 12 step recovery program and the disease concept of addiction treatment is preferred
