Responsibilities:

Manage and administer cloud environments on public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, including provisioning, configuration, and maintenance of virtual machines, storage, networks, and other cloud services.
Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications for performance, availability, and security incidents, and implement proactive measures to maintain uptime and mitigate risks.
Configure and manage cloud networking, security, and identity/access management (IAM) policies, including VPCs, security groups, firewalls, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
Implement and enforce compliance with security best practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies for cloud environments.
Monitor cloud costs and usage, identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings, and implement strategies to optimize resource allocation and spending.
Automate deployment, scaling, and management tasks using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools and automation frameworks (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues, diagnose problems, and implement solutions in a timely manner to minimize impact on business operations.
Document cloud configurations, procedures, and best practices, and provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud computing, DevOps, and infrastructure automation, and assess their potential impact on our organization's cloud strategy and roadmap.
Collaborate with IT teams, developers, and vendors to integrate cloud environments with other systems and applications, and ensure seamless data flow and interoperability.

Must Have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. (Master's degree preferred)
Proven experience as a Cloud Administrator, Systems Administrator, or similar role, with expertise in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure environments.
Strong proficiency in cloud platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
Knowledge of cloud networking, security, and IAM concepts and best practices, including VPCs, security groups, firewalls, and RBAC.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, ELK Stack) and incident response procedures for cloud environments.
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex technical environments, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently and proactively, manage multiple tasks and priorities, and deliver high-quality results on time and within budget.
Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are a plus.
