AWS Architect Description--
Minimum of 5-10+ years exp. With AWS Infrastructure Architect/Engineer: design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and various AWS IaaS and PaaS services. Expected to understand the AWS services and apply best practices regarding security and scalability. Working experience on AWS infrastructure setup and implementation. Should have minimum of AWS solution Architect PRO level certification. Understanding of AWS Cloud Adoption Framework (link removed)> Should be able to write infrastructure as code using AWS technoligies.. Able to use a CI/CD pipelines to deploy applications on AWS. We use GITHUB for CI/CD Experience with serverless approaches using AWS LAMBDA is MUST. Terraform experience, to understand scripts and write codes is MUST Understanding of the enterprise management processes - OS backup, patching, vulnerability scanning, compliance and how to achieve that in AWS. Good Experience with AWS PAAS Services Design/ deploy and how to operate., Experience with python language is MUST..
Azure Architect Job Description--
--Azure Infrastructure Architect/Engineer: design, develop, and maintain infrastructure and various Azure or AWS IaaS and PaaS services.
--Expected to understand the Azure services and apply best practices regarding security and scalability.
--Working experience on Azure infrastructure setup and implementation. Should have at least one associate level certificate (pro will be a plus).
--Understanding of Azure Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure Lighthouse.
--Should be able to write infrastructure as code using Azure ARM
--Able to use a CI/CD pipelines to deploy applications on Azure. We use Azure Devops and Github actions for CI/CD.
--Previous experience with the serverless approaches using Azure Functions is a plus.
--Understanding of the enterprise management processes - OS backup, patching, vulnerability scanning, compliance and how to achieve that in Azure.
--People may not have all the skills, so good to have some of them and are willing to develop others.
