ESI was founded as a technical coffee service company in 1989; setting the standard for service quality and customer support in the specialty coffee industry. Intermix Beverage, our product division, was created to offer a full circle consumer experience. The goal is to help customers serve a high-quality and consistently prepared coffee beverage.
This role is responsible for performing installation, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer-owned and company-owned coffee equipment both at customer locations and in the shop. This position is also responsible for providing high-quality work and excellent customer service to ensure highly satisfied customers.
Position Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- All equipment is tagged appropriately and check-in form is filled out
- Ensure all jobs are completed in FieldAware
- Communicate with customers on the status of their repairs
- Communicate parts/supplies shortages to Parts Coordinator or their manager
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop
- Required to take a turn in the after hours on call rotation
- Ensure security of the facility
- Assist service technicians with installations and parts delivery
- Check-in with their manager at the beginning and end of each day
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
Certification/Degree
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Skills
- Valid driver's license with the ability to be insured
- Time management
- Customer service skills
- Oral and written communication skills
- Troubleshooting skills
- Ability to be a team player
Knowledge
- Strong computer aptitude, including experience Google Suite
Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Working knowledge of multimeter
- Vo-Tech school degree; or one to two years related experience and/or training with electrical and hydraulic systems; or equivalent combination of education and experience
