A prominent commercial real estate company seeks an experienced maintenance engineer for a medical/professional office building located in Melbourne, FL. We are seeking an experienced maintenance person with prior commercial building engineering experience. The maintenance engineer will be responsible for performing all aspects of building maintenance, including but not limited to light carpentry, plumbing, and electrical/lighting repairs, painting, and have strong knowledge of HVAC, fire systems, and safety procedures, as well as provide tenant relations, vendor management, construction oversight, and daily plant operations. The position is based in Melbourne, FL
Requirements
The candidate must have a minimum five years of experience as a maintenance engineer working in a commercial office or medical building. The candidate must have acute attention to detail and demonstrated effectiveness in managing multiple work assignments, often adhering to strict deadlines. The candidate must have moderate written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills and a courteous and customer service-oriented manner and the ability to work with limited supervision. Microsoft Office proficiency is required.
