Position - Commercial Process Owner Duration - 9 months Location - Hackettstown, NJ 07840 Summary This is a data management/entry role that will support new item creation through the MWC systems. Need to work with cross-functional stakeholders, suppliers, and the Commercial Operations team to ensure new items set up is completed on time and accurately. Will need to be able to prioritize workload and support the Go-To-Market team. This role may also support other key projects within the business. Responsibilities: - Has moderate to extensive knowledge and experience in own discipline
- Performs a range of mainly straightforward assignments when entering this Assignment level, developing towards having full accountability processes or business objectives
- Continues to build knowledge of the company, processes, and customers by leading projects or project steps within a broader project
- Typically resolves problems using existing solutions, but may also solve complex problems by taking a new perspective on existing solutions
- Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction
- Can be a Line Manager for Business Operations and Technical roles
- Commercial-Maximizes value for money. Leverages external capabilities to optimize and protects the supply chain and ensure the responsible and continuous supply of materials, services, and finished goods.
- Commercial Effectiveness-Partner with Commercial stakeholders (e.g. sourcing, operations, transactions, supplier quality assurance, etc.) to develop and deploy best practice processes, tools, guidelines, and systems. Develops and deploys learning and development strategy, programs, and tools to enable the development of functional capabilities within the Commercial function on a global basis.
- Commercial Business Process Ownership-Act as a liaison between the Commercial function and other functions, like Supply, Finance, and Digital Technologies, to help shape strategic planning including:
- Advising on procurement strategies
- Ensuring information flow between procurement and business
- Monitoring goals achievements
