We are currently seeking line cooks, prep cooks, and kitchen helpers who are looking to continue and advance in the culinary world of private clubs. These are permanent full-time position that have opportunities for advancement.
We are centrally located within walking distance of the Tuxedo, NY Train Station.

Salary is calculated by experience: Starting: $32,000yr and upto $40,000yr
Job Summary:
Prepare, season, and cook dishes, such as soups, meats, vegetables, or desserts in restaurant. General Accountabilities Inspects and clean food preparation areas or serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices. Ensures food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters. Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock. Season and cook food according to recipes or personal judgment and experience. Bakes, roasts, broils, and steams meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods. Observes and tests foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently. Washes, peels, cuts, and seeds fruits and vegetables to prepare them for consumption. Carves and trims meats for hot or cold service. Consults with supervisory staff to plan menus, taking into consideration factors such as costs and special event needs. The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Cooks will support the Executive Chef and Sous Chef with daily a la carte and private event food production while maintaining consistent food preparation and plate presentation.
  • Great understanding of various cooking methods , ingredients, equipment and following standardize recipes
  • The Cook is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of culinary services for our members and guests.
  • Availability to be a full-time year round position
  • Be able to work in standing position for long periods of time (up 8/10 hours)
  • Be able to lift, reach, bend and stoop
  • Prior experience as a Cook required
  • High level of professionalism and TEAM player
Experience:
  • Minimum of one year of related experience
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Reliable transportation
  • Able to work nights, weekends and holidays
