Customer Service Agent - Logistics


The Customer Service Agent is responsible for ensuring a high level of service is provided to our customers. The role will be responsible for communications between the customer and warehouse management relative to the daily work product, status, and expectations. The Customer Service Associate will prepare and maintain backup for customer invoices in compliance with company policy.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processing the daily operational orders to ship out within the assigned deadlines
  • Work directly with internal and external customers to meet and exceed expectations
  • Exercises discretion and judgment on a regular basis to achieve Customer and company goals
  • To assist with customer visits when request or facilitated with internal management
  • To assist with employee training
  • Escalate customer issues or requests when necessary
  • Communicates with the team to discuss problems, issues, ideas for improvement
  • Schedule freight pick up
  • Organize front office files/documents
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management
  • Complete necessary reports
  • Ensure high level of data quality and integrity by processing shipment accurately
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Educational Background / Work Experience
Experience in Customer Service/Logistics within the freight forwarding/supply chain/logistics industry preferred



Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to effectively work with others, team environment
  • Organized
  • Ability to train and instruct others on how to perform tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to operate in global environment
  • Self-managing and pro-active


Language Skills:

  • Fluency in English is required
  • Knowledge of additional languages is a plus

Computer Literacy

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with focus on Excel
  • Experience in logistics software and systems preferred (Cargowise, WMS)

Working Conditions
This role is based in a warehouse environment.


For this position, the expected base pay is: $18.75 - $25.25 / Hourly). Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
