Strong Database Development skill (Logical DBA) on both Oracle (PL/SQL) and PostgreSQL (Pg/SQL) ,
likewise, on DB2 on ZoS , DB2 LuW to PostgreSQL.
Database Code Conversion and Data Migration from Oracle to PostgreSQl and DB2 to PostgreSQL , Oracle to MySQL and DB2 on Mainframe (Z/oS) to DB2 LuW and Postgresql. - Heterogeneous Database Migration
Database Developer with Strong experience onPL/SQL to Pg/SQL conversion and SQL. Experience in Heterogenous Database Migration
10+ years of experience in Heterogeneous Database Migrations
Oracle , DB2, PostgreSQL, PL/SQL, SQL, Pg/PLSQL, Data Modeling , application knowledge
10+ yearsof experience in Heterogeneous Database Migrations (expert)
Translate Oracle PL/SQL constructs to Postgres PL/pgSQL, i.e., Oracle packages, global temporary files, etc.
Postgres performance/tuning analysis be able to tune Postgres PL/SQL code to meet required SLAs.
Familiar with Postgres database server configuration capable of tuning configurations to optimize performance as per required workload.
Be able to diagnose in real time any bottlenecks, database servers resource utilization that are challenged, etc.
Strogn Experience on Migrating Oracle and DB2 databases to Postgresql.
Proficiency in : Database Object Analysis , Database design, Database performance tuning
Proficiency in understanding Applications requirement on its PostgreSQL database
Advance knowledge of Data Migration techniques and Migration tools
Advanced knowledge of database optimization, security, backup, recovery, and performance monitoring standards.
Proficiency in resolving Exceptions and non-compatibilities while migrating data
Experience in creating Data Migration Plans for Test and Production databases.
Good understanding on Cloud operational/transaction optimization techniques
Strong command of SQL and related database objects and tools.
Understanding of relational, non-relational and dimensional data modelling
