Nurse will see patients in and around the DC area. As a Mobile Virtual Registered Nurse (RN) you will be part of the Care Medical Registered Nurse Team responsible for providing patient care both virtually (chat, video, telephone) and in-person. Care can range from urgent/episodic to scheduled, preventative care and chronic disease management. You will need to triage, coordinate care, return precautions, offer symptom support and guidance, conduct health assessments, POC testing, and lab services, and deliver health education to meet the needs of the patient virtually or in an in-home setting. To best serve our patients, care must be consistent with the highest industry standards and follow the rules and guidelines set by Care Medical, accrediting bodies and state and local policies. Responsibilities Responsible for direct nursing care and support of patients within established standards of care, clinical practice guidelines, and Care Medical policies and procedures. Provides safe and quality patient care through multiple modalities in a given shift, including virtual and in-person functions as a patient advocate for our customer base. Uses technology as a platform for patient care, computer and cloud storage systems, and connected clinical devices. Makes field visits to non-clinical settings including patient homes and workplaces to provide care and implement treatment plans. Delivers patient care in high priority content areas such as travel health, preventive care, or care targeting a range of common chronic conditions through modalities involving chat, video, email, phone, and in-person. Demonstrates the ability to observe, record, and report needs, concerns and coordinate the needs of patients and maintain constructive relationships with them, and with all care providers. Educates, instructs and supervises the patient and/or other responsible person in meeting nursing and related patient care needs. Adapts as needed to change processes and practice in an evolving, ambiguous environment. QualificationsBasic Qualifications: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in state of residence. Possess BLS certification by date of hire. 2+ years of experience as a Registered Nurse, including 1 year experience working with pediatric patients. Proficient in phlebotomy. Ability to obtain licensure in multiple states as required by business need.License in DC required and ability to obtain a state of WA license. Current and valid driver s license, proof of insurance and driving record in good standing. Reliable mode of transportation for all scheduled shifts and observes all traffic laws and safety standards. Able to regularly store and transport 3 - 6 cubic feet of medical supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. in vehicle and at home. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Nursing or other field. Experience in primary care, urgent care, emergency care, home health, and/or ambulatory care. Experience delivering patient care that regularly flexes between virtual (chat, video, telephonic) and in-person care.
