Data Analyst/Project Manager

Denver, CO

Hybrid remote work (3 days in office/2 days remote)

The Data Analyst is a member of the Network Operations Core & Backbone Operations Service Strategy team and is responsible for provide capital project asset reviews, ownership of capital asset procurement requests from instantiation to fulfillment, and utilization of existing and or new data automation to seek process efficiency and management reporting efficiency. This position requires a combination of task management, Excel data processing, and Smartsheet data processing. The Network Operations Core & Backbone Operations Service Strategy team is engaged in many new network builds and existing network expansions and resiliency enhancements for both fiber and coax networks which requires orchestration and deployment of a large number of cutting-edge network components. The successful candidate will bring creativeness, critical thinking and a self-starter approach to this position. The successful candidate will also seek opportunities to improve features, performance, and usability of Excel, Smartsheet and other automation tools used by the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Review of capital project requests to improve completeness and quality of the project request, such as required fields and valid values.
  • Oversight and ownership of capital project requests from receipt through to fulfillment.
  • Interact with vendors, purchasing, engineering and field staff beginning with the equipment purchase request through to the equipment deployment.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of fulfillment process improvements documented in Lucidchart, PowerPoint and/or Word.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of process automation using a combination of Excel and Smartsheet. Example work products include status dashboards, data integrations, workflows, reporting and data entry methods.
  • Executive stakeholder, end user and intra-team communications.

Requirements

  • 2+ Years of experience with Excel [Formulas, Macros, Visual Basic], including large data ingestion.
  • 1+ Years of experience with Smartsheet to perform project work planning, executive status reporting and data processing.
  • 2+ years large enterprise IT project-based team experience.
  • Experience with process flow documentation tools (eg.Powerpoint, Lucidchart, etc.)
  • Strong logical and analytic skills.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • 1+ years of experience working with enterprise-level Operations Support Systems (OSS) and Business Support Systems (BSS) projects (eg. service activation, billing systems, security systems, workflow systems)
  • Experience with telecommunications and networking.
