Research USA LLC seeks Data Analyst II in Omaha, NE

Job Duties: Translate business requirements into technical requirements. Provide requirements and oversight to product development team. Design, develop, test, and debug software. Analyze and implement refinements and upgrades throughout all stages of the product lifecycle. Manage API and website projects and priorities of ongoing engineering plans based on business needs. Manage relationships with off-shore development team to develop product and troubleshoot issues. Perform weekly database updates. Write test scripts for validation of data, software, and/or procedure changes. Perform continuous data analysis and reporting to ensure data quality and continuity. Provide 24/7 on-call duty to analyze issues and remedy data availability.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or a closely related field plus one year of experience in a similar role as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst or a related occupation with similar responsibilities.

Special Skill Requirements:

One year of experience with the following:
1. Troubleshooting and resolving server issues in an AWS cloud infrastructure environment.
2. Debugging product issues using Java, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and HTTP.
3. Database-related build processes, including writing and executing custom build scripts using tools like Putty for updating dynamic web pages.
4. API architecture.
5. Linux shell scripting and command line utilities.
6. SQL queries, database backup, and recovery processes.
7. Version control including – SVN, Git for organized code management and collaborative development.

Position also requires the following:
8. Experience managing customer issue resolution.
9. Experience with product management, including using platforms Jira and Trello.
10. Availability to provide 24/7 on-call support.
