Data Analyst - Product Reliability (Latham, NY)
Play a critical role in driving and supporting analytics activities to mine and present data on product performance ultimately used to understand product reliability trends and drive decisions on product improvements that enhance the customer experience. This role will be based on-site in Latham, NY and follow the Philips hybrid working model.
Your role:
Identifying and processing data sources into a rich database that can be queried to create dashboards that illustrate product performance trends.
Creating efficient data models that link multiple data sources for use by team members to create user specific visualizations that suit their needs.
Developing dashboards focused on product reliability and trends, such as Weibull and reliability growth charts. Developing automated routines that refresh data sources and eliminate manual updating.
Working closely with key stakeholders and data owners to gain and maintain access to data sources. Creating and maintaining a roadmap for future development and enhancement activities and aligning with key stakeholders on content and priority.
Implementing and adhering to best practices for documenting work product.
Communicating complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
You're the right fit if:
Youve acquired 5+ years of experience beyond your education in data analysis with demonstrated ability to design and implement effective and efficient databases, preferably in cloud environments that are product focused. 10+ years if you do not have a degree.
Your skills include experience with SQL, Power BI and/or Qlik required, Python is strong preference. You have demonstrated your capability to synthesize data, understand business dynamics and think strategically.
You have a Bachelors Degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science or similar discipline and developed strong analytical skills with the ability to think methodically, reason, embrace concepts; formulate insights, and present compelling cases for action/decision making.
You are comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously to produce balanced outcomes that maximize integrated value for the company with the ability to network and team-up with colleagues to deliver higher throughput with more impact.
You can effectively communicate complex matters in simply understood terms with all levels in the organization and visually present and communicate data and recommendations.
You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position is $92,000 to $158,000, annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
