Data Analyst for Cepheid in Lodi, CA to collaborate with various departments to collect, store, analyze, and present data to support data-driven decision-making. Support Technical Operations (Failure Investigation), Quality, Engineering Teams, and Manufacturing Operations with reports and dashboards. Support manufacturing operations and engineering teams by providing production, delivery, and productivity data, for identifying improvement opportunities. Perform statistical analysis using software like Minitab to create and understand control charts that will help to ensure the performance of the product or process is within expected parameters. Work in partnership with quality analysts to ensure data accuracy for data mining, interpret data sets using SQL, Python, and summarize trends using statistical techniques/visualization tools. Identify trends and insights from data to provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders. Work closely with technical teams to collect and manage data in appropriate formats. Develop and maintain data models, databases, and dashboards to support departmental needs. Provide training and support to departmental staff in data management and analysis.



Education Required: Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus two (2) years of experience as a Quality Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related occupation in a manufacturing environment and/or within manufacturing operations or, alternatively, a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as a Quality Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Systems Engineer, or related occupation in a manufacturing environment and/or within manufacturing operations. Experience must include: Statistical analysis techniques & tools such as Minitab; Visualization tools such as Advanced Excel, PowerBI, Tableau; Query and refine data using SQL, Python and create ad-hoc dashboards/reports to management and leadership team; Working with eQMS (electronic Quality Management System) software to support organization process flows; GDP (Good Documentation Practice) to be compliance with medical device industry standards; and Working with ERP system such as SAP, Oracle or other similar applications. International travel – up to 10% travel required. Partial telecommute available. Salary range: $71,400.00 - $124,900.00/year. Salary Offered: $114,622.20.
