Partnering with the operation and investment teams, you will design and implement data solutions that drive insights and inform key decisions. You will be responsible for managing the entire data pipeline, from acquiring and transforming data to storing it and creating reports. This will involve a variety of tasks, including web scraping, API collection, SQL and Python coding, and data visualization.

To excel in this role, you should be passionate about working with data and eager to tackle complex data challenges. Role Overview

• Design and implement scalable ETL solutions (structured and unstructured; batch and streaming).
• Building data pipelines, standardizing, and cleansing data for the operation and investment team.
• Automate manual tasks and computation and maintain it
• Computing risk calculations for the operation team.

Requirements

• Bachelors in a technology related field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, etc.) required; Masters or PhD degree would be ideal
• Proficiency in Relational database engineering and NoSQL database engineering is required
• Strong programming background with experience coding in Python
• Experience with Django or other web development framework would be beneficial
• Experience with any of the following systems/tools is a plus: Apache Airflow, Jupyter, Docker
• Familiarity with the mechanics of securities markets and exchanges is a plus but not required
• Be able to succinctly present recommendations at an executive level
• Strong analytic and strategic thinking skills
