Position: Data Project Manager Location Camden, New Jersey (onsite) Duration: Contract Job Description: - 15+ years in IT services project development
- Experience in deciding on suitable strategies and direction
- Develop and control deadlines. Budgets and activities
- Experience in handling large scale transformation projects and delivering with more than 20+ resources
- Vast experience in managing teams and orchestrating outcomes for customers
- Experience in working on large scale customer programs working closely with customer project managers and team.
- Exposure to Data & BI development & support projects will be an added advantage
- A proven track record of successfully delivering projects using methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile Frameworks
- Knowledge and or experience with successful Agile techniques, Test Driven Development TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Testing, Pair programming and Automated Testing
- Excellent knowledge/experience of change management and change request process
- Formulating, organizing, and monitoring inter- connected projects
- Coordinate cross-project activities
- Experience in managing multiple vendors as part of the program
- Experience in using JIRA report generation setting up workflows creating dashboards Sprint Agile boards etc
- Scheduling work to optimize workflow/throughput through a number of Technology Areas to maintain velocity and team cadence
- Able to understand technology principles and tools, to effectively provision and co-ordinate complex interdependencies as they are expressed in installations and implementations
- Ability to coordinate end to end delivery across multiple technology areas
- Exceptional stakeholder management experience
- Ability to influence & negotiate via a variety of strategies, to build string stakeholder buy-in
- An understanding of the release process and how its applied across project
- Keen eye to identify dependencies and risks and come up with mitigations plans accordingly
- Ability to improve on existing processes to allow for improved delivery
- Ability to develop and agree value for change initiatives and track value through execution
- Ability to Develop dashboards to quantify internal processes efficiency (nice to have)
- Ability to prepare and report program status and MIS
- Good understanding of project/program financials"
