Works with large and complex provider, member and claim datasets and applies advanced analytical methods as needed. Conducts end-to-end analysis that includes data gathering and requirements specification, processing, analysis, ongoing deliverables, and presentations. Explains data science findings and machine learning models to stakeholders. Implements and executes production-level machine learning models. Collaborates with engineering teams to build data-based products and helps integrate them into products and operational processes. Designs and architects the personalization platform.
The position requires quarterly travel to Santa Monica, CA for team meetings and additional travel to other locations across the United States as needed. Partial virtual/work-from-home benefit is available.
Requires a Masters degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field (or a Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, or a related field and 2 years of data science experience). Must have knowledge of or experience with statistical modeling; machine learning; ETL processes; SQL; and Python.
