Job Description
We're seeking a talented Data Scientist with expertise in AI and Deep Learning for medical image processing to join our team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in developing cutting-edge algorithms to analyze medical images, driving advancements in diagnostics and healthcare. Collaborating closely with clinicians and engineers, you'll integrate AI models into medical systems, directly impacting patient outcomes and Philips' growth in the healthcare sector.

Your role:


Lead the design and implementation of state-of-the-art AI and DL algorithms, prioritizing accuracy, speed, and interpretability.

Clean, preprocess, and curate vast amounts of medical image data to ensure superior inputs for model training and validation.

Expertly train and evaluate deep learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, refining them for optimal performance.

Conduct in-depth analyses to extract pertinent features from medical images, crucial for diagnostics.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate AI models into medical imaging systems and applications.

Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, DL, and medical imaging technologies, continuously enhancing existing models.

Maintain clear documentation for developed algorithms, facilitating knowledge transfer within the team.

Uphold ethical standards and regulatory compliance in handling medical data.

You're the right fit if:


You hold a Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

You have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in developing AI and DL solutions for medical image processing.

Your technical skills include proficiency in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, experience with medical imaging modalities and formats, familiarity with image segmentation, registration, and feature extraction techniques, and knowledge of GPU acceleration.

Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail, round out your profile.
