Our growing Clearwater, Florida client is seeking a Team Lead over their Enterprise Data Warehouse. Local (Clearwater/Tampa) area candidates preferred!

In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and team lead on all aspects of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) in this highly visible role. It is essential for the Data Warehouse Team Lead to demonstrate sound analytical and communication skills, develop project plans, and lead the Enterprise Data Warehouse team through project completion. You should be able to adapt to rapidly changing environments and technology. You will serve as an interface between the Business Analytics Team and the Enterprise Data Warehouse Team ensuring task clarity and prioritization. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Manage and mentor a 3-5 person team developing and supporting high-performance Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW)

·        Provide staff leadership, technical direction, day-to-day administration, and task/duty assignments of staff personnel.   

·        Work with Data Services management team to establish best practices; code reviews; recommend improvements; research solutions.

·        Establish or improve procedures and controls, where necessary, to ensure that all services meet SLAs and best practices.

·        Manage Team Backlog and Enhancement Requests

·        Develop project plans and coordinate with the team to execute database solutions for various projects and operational needs.

·        Develop scripts, perform database support activities, and conduct performance tuning and database design, dimensional analysis, and modeling.

·        Create, maintain, and enhance ETL and ELT packages tools.

·        Create, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards.

REQUIREMENTS:

·        Bachelor degree or equivalent experience

·        12+ years of database experience including SQL Server 2016

·        Proven experience in data warehouse solutions (preferably SQL Server, and Tableau)

·        At least 7 years of ETL experience using tools such as SSIS, Oracle OWB (or similar)

·        3 years of experience supervising and leading a team

·        Experience working with enterprise-level databases in excess of 15TB

·        Microsoft SSRS and SSIS or similar tools

·        Tableau or similar Business Intelligence (BI) tools

·        Big Data

·        Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies

·        Oracle 12c/19c or DB2 for IBMi (iSeries/AS400) experience a plus
