Responsibilities:

· Quickly develop an understanding of complex data models and data.

· Design, develop, test and implement new programs, as well as maintain and refine existing programs:

· Develop test plans and perform unit and integration testing. Identify possible regression impacts and perform related testing.

· Develop and monitor program runtime error and exception handling applications, using automated notification and self-correction techniques where appropriate.

· Track errors and exceptions through to appropriate resolution.

· Serve as a technical/business analyst, working with technical and non-technical personnel to define requirements.

· Write and maintain technical documentation.

· Maintain appropriate records regarding problem situations and their resolutions.

· Perform related duties as required.

Qualifications

· Minimum five years of hands-on experience building data queries; writing SQL of a complex nature, developing data extraction and loading scripts, and developing Microsoft and Oracle packages, functions and stored procedures.

· Excellent skills with Windows/Linux scripting languages, java, file transfer protocols.

· Excellent problem-solving skills.

· Proven ability to understand data exchange and interface requirements and utilize data extraction, transformation and load techniques.

· Ability to monitor existing production programs and perform troubleshooting and performance tuning.

· Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and techniques.

· Experience with Oracle Data Integrator and GoldenGate is a plus.

· Candidate must be mature and responsible and have strong written and oral communication skills.

· Candidate must work well independently and within a team.
