Le Village is a child-centric co-working space for parents. We are currently seeking teachers for our Wigglers (3m-Walking), Wobblers (Walking-2.5) and Explorers (2.5y-3.5y) classrooms. Le Village is a co-working space that offers on-site childcare Monday through Friday. Parents bring their children to learn and play while they work in the adjacent office. During that time, parents can step away to a quiet space onsite to work and pop over to check on their little ones as time allows. After 3 hours, we ask that they take a break from "the office" and spend at least 45 minutes of 1-on-1 time with their munchkin. We are not a daycare.

During the time that children are in Village Care classrooms, we offer learning opportunities for them. Your job is to coordinate and lead these activities, help children transition from one part of the day to the next, and be a patient, positive role model. The curriculum is designed to allow you choice and flexibility without a lot of prep work so you can focus on being present with the little ones in your classroom.

Requirements

• Ideal candidates have 1-3 years of experience working with children in the age range of the level they are applying for.
• Education (CDA, Bachelors Degree in Child Development or Early Childhood Education or Associates Degree in a related field with 1-2 years of experience) will also be considered
• Current CPR + First-Aid Certification or willingness to become certified.
• Record of up-to-date immunizations and ability to pass a background check.
• Excellent attitude and proactive approach to work.
• Working hours 8:30a-5:30p with an hour for lunch.
