-A restaurant is a business that prepares and serves food and drinks to customers. Meals are generally served and eaten on the premises, but many restaurants also offer take-out and food delivery services. we also deliver raw food at our warehouse.
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport foods to customers
- Load and deliver products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or hand trucks
- Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers at delivery locations
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders before leaving the warehouse or distribution center
- Maintain delivery logs and records, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the delivery vehicle
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel
Experience:
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Ability to operate a forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
- Proficiency in navigating using GPS or other routing software
- Strong organizational skills to manage delivery schedules and routes effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
