VAF is looking for a Delivery Driver/Install Technician.  Our delivery drivers are tasked to deliver equipment, supplies and products using our company trucks. They must be able to load and unload their deliveries from their point of origin to the destination. They are responsible for installing, connecting and confirming equipment communications/set-up. They may need to troubleshoot issues and escalate any identified problems. They must be able to perform simple vehicle maintenance as they are in charge with the vehicle they are driving.  This is a Monday through Friday position, from 8:00 to 5:00, with small schedule variations based on workload. 

Delivery drivers are responsible for:

• Delivery of all assigned TSG Products


• Facilitate delivery vehicle maintenance


• Perform all maintenance duties with respect to TSG demo rooms and warehouse


• Remove and dispose of all installation and set-up/staging refuse


• Connect equipment, complete setup steps to establish communications and troubleshoot any issues


• Provide accurate and timely delivery and compilation of all required administrative duties


• Assist with machine staging, set-up, and any other TSG utility duties when needed


• Operate and use warehouse equipment including stairclimber, forklift, and pallet jack as required

Responsibilities

Delivery drivers are responsible for:

• Obtain and maintain Indiana commercial driver fitness requirements and valid driver’s license


• Must follow dress code while in company facilities and vehicles, and on customer property


• Monitor hours and only work overtime once it has been approved


• Submit time card to the Warehouse Manager on time, as designated.

Education and Training Requirements

Delivery drivers are required to have at least a high school diploma. They must acquire an Indiana driver’s license and must be 21 years old. Qualified drivers must also have 20/40 vision. Training attendance is required as specified by the Warehouse Manager.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements

A delivery driver must be honest, accurate, and punctual. They are expected to be physically fit since the job requires extensive travelling, and carrying plenty of boxes. A delivery driver must always look fresh and pleasant. They should be friendly and personable since they will be dealing with people. Good communication skills are essential and they must be keen into details.
