We have partnered with a large food manufacturing company in the Vernon, CA area to provide them with a Demand & Scheduling Manager.

Responsibilities of the Demand & Scheduling Manager:
Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer delivery expectations Creates production schedule and prioritizes job-orders for production optimization Maintains the production schedule and other reports as required Schedule and manage the first production process Manage inventories on production SKU's as they approach the end of project status Interactions with Co-Manufactures on inventory and production schedules Manage and develop the finite scheduling process for both Raw and RTE production Interacts with Customer Service and Shipping/Receiving around order modifications and timing on outbound loads Other duties as assigned Requirements of the Demand & Scheduling Manager:
- Associates Degree Ideal--Bachelors Degree HIGHLY DESIRED
- 5+ years of related experience working with raw proteins, i.e., beef, chicken, and pork
- Strategic/Analytic thinking and planning capabilities (forecasting included) required.
- Ability to effectively work in a team environment
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on Excel and a MRP system
- Detail oriented, solution focused
