The Position

Our bank client is seeking to fill a Hybrid Remote Deposit Product Manager role in the Baltimore, MD area. The successful candidate will engage with cross-functional teams and develop new product ideas and features that help our members with their financial health and well-being. The candidate will develop strategies that will increase the portfolio volume and member penetration, drive existing and new marketing initiatives, and focus on target segmentation and analytics for the deposit portfolio.

The position includes a generous salary of up to $85K and an excellent benefits package.

Deposit Product Manager responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for growth, retention, and product development efforts for the deposit portfolio.
  • Implementation of product pricing, promotions, and enhancements to support the organizations overall strategy and goals.
  • Managing each stage of a project to ensure that commitments are met in a manner that is timely and within budget.
  • Working with the manager to develop annual plans and ongoing forecasts, including identification of variances and development of corrective tactics as they develop
  • Continually communicates product goals compared to actual achievement on a regular and promotional basis.
  • Understanding product delivery channel functionalities and recommending new technologies to ensure that the product purchases, access, and function are aligned with consumer expectations.
  • Proactively recognizes product promotional opportunities and presents concepts in a timely manner.
  • Ensuring product integrity and consistent messaging across all delivery channels including working and conferring with appropriate business areas to implement associated tactics, such as delivery channel messaging, cross-selling, etc. to achieve specific goals such as awareness building or lead generation.
  • Ensuring promotions, advertising, and printed materials meet current compliance standards.
  • Performing other job-related duties as assigned.

You also bring the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, or Finance.
  • Five or more years of experience in Product Management.
  • Two or more years of experience in Project Management.
  • Three years of experience in Marketing/Advertising.
  • Ability to proactively analyze and evaluate deposit product performance metrics to form recommendations regarding market opportunities and product enhancements to meet established organizational financial and strategic goals.
  • Must be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of operational success in the deposit product market, and be familiar with the areas of product development, acquisition strategies, portfolio management, and cross-functional collaboration and communication.
  • Builds solid collaborative working relationships with cross-functional teams and gain consensus on priorities.
  • Interacts with senior management across the organization through written and verbal communications and presentations.
