Employee promotion results in our search for a deputy director to assist the director and Bureau of Child Support by performing complex administrative duties that involve analyzing operations, supervising staff, and managing finances. Essential duties include working closely with the director and budget preparation, hiring, training, performance management, performance improvement as necessary; completing reports; completing requisitions and purchase orders; attending personal development and events as required; and maintaining confidentiality.
Requirements
Qualified applicants will hold a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, psychology, social work, sociology, or other related field OR hold equivalent combination of education and experience; possess supervisory and management experience; knowledge of local and state laws relating to domestic relations cases; knowledge of legal practices, policies, and methods of investigation and enforcement of support matters; effective interpersonal relations and communications skills (both written and verbal); computer literacy; and a strong customer service orientation.
