We are seeking a Deputy Lead Engineer to provide on-site support In San Diego, CA USA. This role may have hybrid options available for the right candidate.
Position Is contingent upon award of contract.
Requirements
- Must be a citizen of the United States.
- Minimum 7 years of systems engineering experience on unmanned aerial or surface platforms such as SkyGuardian or SeaGuardian.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network design or engineering, mathematics, software engineering, or software development.
Preferred Experience:
- 5 years of experience in systems engineering, and systems and Integration experience.
- 1 year of experience with Advanced Networking Tactical System/Ashore Routing Communications System (ANTS/ARCS) project management.
- Expert-level knowledge and usability of Security+, CISSP, Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE, RHEL
Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):
- Develop new products or improving existing ones through research and development.
- Manage projects from start to finish by setting deadlines and ensuring that teams are meeting those deadlines.
- Develop and implement safety procedures for all employees on the job site.
- Plan, design, and oversee construction projects using engineering principles and methods of analysis.
- Maintain relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction with the progress of the project.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for new products or services that will meet customer needs.
- Identify problems in existing products or processes and proposing solutions.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, of Software Engineering.
- Master's degree is preferred.

- CCNP
- CCIE
- RHEL
Personnel Clearance Level:
- Candidate must possess an active, DoD-issued Secret security clearance or higher.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000
