C&V Consulting, Inc. (CVC) is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Civil Engineer to serve as a Design Engineer. CVC is a corporation whose principals have been providing multi-disciplinary engineering services to clients in both public and private sectors for over 30 years.

NO Structural, Architectural, Computer Programming or IT Resumes

Responsibilities:

• Prepare preliminary/ final engineering construction documents for residential and commercial/ industrial projects
• Prepare and design grading, drainage (including hydrology/ hydraulics, water quality), street improvements, sewer and water improvements, construction exhibits, plan & profile, tentative maps, etc.
• Construction Management/ Assistance, Scheduling, Cost Estimating
• Able to work with Project Managers and with Design Teams
• Miscellaneous field work including site visits, meetings, certifications, inspections, etc.

Requirements

• BS Civil Engineering and/ or Construction Management (land surveying knowledge is a plus)
• EIT preferred, however not required
• AutoCAD 2017 or higher required, Civil 3D, AES or other Hydrology/ Hydraulic equal software, WaterCAD, HydroCAD , etc.
• Proficient in oral and written skills, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook required
• Class work related to land development, surveying, hydraulics/ hydrology, construction management is recommended

Starting compensation is between $25 to $35 an hour based on prior work experience.
