The Design Engineer creates outputs of detailed drawings/models using various software.

• Confers with project personnel to provide technical advice and to resolve problems.
• Trains and mentors CAD Designers and ensuring use of Trachte standards in Design Team.
• Creation of project Bill of Materials, Shop Work Orders and final production drawings to shop.
• Inform Project Manager of resources needed to meet production requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, Engineering Physics, Industrial Technology or 3+ years hand on work experience.
• SolidWorks Certification required.
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Willing to work overtime, as needed.
