IDEO, LP seeks Design Lead in San Francisco, CA:

Job Duties: Lead teams on projects that solve problems across a variety of client work, effectively steering a team of interdisciplinary designers, such as design researchers, industrial designers, business designers, and interaction designers through all phases of a project to develop a holistic design for our clients. Create looks like/works like prototypes that help tell a project's story. Advocate for exceptional design. Confer with clients to discuss and determine layout design. Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts. Develop graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and Web sites. Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed. Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material, discussing them with clients or supervisors and making necessary changes. Mark up, paste, and assemble final layouts to prepare layouts for printer. Telecommuting and/or remote employment permitted. Salary $116,300.00 to $125,000.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Industrial Design, Graphic Design or closely related quantitative discipline.

Special Skill Requirements: 1) UI/UX technologies; 2) Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Bridge, Audition, and InDesign; 3) Glyphs; 4) Apple Keynote; and 5) Coding and projection mapping software. Telecommuting and/or remote employment permitted.
