Job Description:

Desktop and M365 Support Analyst

NC OSC is transitioning to a new Microsoft Tenant and fully independent Desktop Management. Our IT Ops team will take on all desktop and M365 support and it will be a significant transition to our staff. We need someone with good communication skills, excellent customer service skills, and an even/calm presence to support our staff through the initial transition and the new ongoing support processes.

Expected Skills: Able to work without assistance can provide leadership to others able to manage highly complex work efforts may have advanced education may have extensive industry experience.

Description (including, but not limited to):

Technical assistance, support, and advice to end users for hardware, software, and systems
Hands on technical and functional assistance to business and technical users
Remote technical and functional assistance to business and technical users
Support of the Office 365 environment (administration and useage)
Able to support remote PC setup and application installation
Will be on site for a portion of the week to support hands on users

Required Skills:

Customer service skills 5 Years
Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Sharepoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc) usage 5 Years
Desktop support 5 Years
PC specifications and purchasing 5 Years
Desktop imaging and installation of applications5Years
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsRequired5Years
Excellent background support end users in a M365 environment with specific emphasis on Outlook, Teams, and SharePoint Required 5 Years

Desired Skills:

Experience supporting IT for employees of the State of NC 1 Years

Highly Desired Skills:

Microsoft certifications 3 Years
Experience supporting A/V equipment 2 Years
