Client is hiring Cloud DevOps Lead for a strategic initiative in San Francisco, CA. As a Cloud DevOps Lead you'll contribute in architecting, developing, deploying, and maintaining heterogeneous infrastructures spanning public cloud and traditional datacentres. You'll also be responsible for providing technical leadership and guidance to a cross-functional team of engineers in the areas of Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering in a pragmatic, lead-by-doing fashion

Basic Qualifications
10+ years of experience, and a demonstrated track record in software development, enterprise Cloud/Infrastructure Services.
8+ years of software development or application engineering in languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++ or similar object-oriented language.
8+ years of experience in architecting, design and planning AWS Cloud Services platform.
Experience in architecting, designing and developing applications on the AWS platform and services.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, using CloudFormation, Terraform, or other tools.
Cloud DevOps Lead Experience with architecting and automating cloud native technologies, deploying applications, and provisioning infrastructure.
Cloud DevOps Lead should have deep understanding of PaaS/SaaS ecosystem.
Cloud DevOps Lead should have experience in managing global team with understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies
Experience in analysing workflows, delegating roles, implementing and tracking complex SaaS/Managed Hosting Projects.
Architectural experience with microservices and distributed applications, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology.
Experience in building application in Containers, Kubernetes and serverless technologies.
Experience architecting highly available systems that utilize load balancing and horizontal scalability.
Experience with Configuration Management platforms (e.g., Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible).
Experience in building and running applications using cloud native services (ALB, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, Fargate, Athena, Redis, SNS, Lambda, Redshift, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, Aurora DB, EMR, EC2, S3 etc.)
Must have experience with DevOps and Public Cloud Technologies including AWS Hosting Services, GIT, Configuration Management, Terraform, Jenkins CI/CD Pipeline.
Must have configuration management and public cloud foundation support experience.
Experience in Monitoring/Audit and Compliance of Public Cloud Hosting platform.
Experience in Implementing the Security strategy, governance, compliance and risk management public cloud architecture.
Deep understanding of cloud security and compliance requirements.

Desired AWS Certifications
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer professional.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect professional.
Strong presentation, verbal communication and written communications skills.
Experience in DevOps and Agile Development.
