Role Description Automate configuration management using Chef tool. Design, implement, and maintain automation processes using the CHEF tool to streamline configuration management, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning. Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, AWS Cloud formation. Develop and maintain CHEF. cookbooks and recipes to automate the configuration of servers, applications, and infrastructure components. Monitor and optimize CHEF infrastructure to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of systems. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar. Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Implement security best practices in CHEF configurations to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Stay updated on the latest developments in CHEF and related technologies, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance automation capabilities. Participate in the planning and execution of infrastructure upgrades and migrations, leveraging CHEF automation to simplify and accelerate the process. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and performance. Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures. Good to have Experience with configuration management tools, specifically CHEF Experience with continuous integration and deployment Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of networking principles and protocols Experience in cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python) Excellent communication and collaboration skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Employement Category:Employement Type: Full time Industry: IT Role Category: IT Services & Consulting Functional Area: Not Applicable Role/Responsibilies: DevOps Engineer - CHEF
