Role: DevOps Lead

Location: Oakland ,CA or Remote Role

Duration: 6+ months

Must Have Skills:

• Java, NodeJS, Python and DotNet
• Implementation of Cloud-Native standards and best practices.
• Microservices design patterns and full stack development.
• Kubernetes, Docker and Helm
• Azure, Linux Bash, PowerShell, Azure ARM Deployments, Jenkin custom shared library with Groovy or Python.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum five (10) years' experience working on project(s) involving implementation of Cloud Native Applications in Java, NodeJS, DotNet and Python language stack with DevSecOps centric solutions.
• Minimum two (2) years in a technical leadership role with or without direct reports.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, CIS, or related field and Minimum eight (8) years' experience in software development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Good knowledge on design and implementation of microservices using cloud-native principles.
• Collaborate with the development teams and help them to migrate the traditional applications to cloud-native.
• Deep understanding of core Azure services, uses, and Azure and AKS architecture best practices.
• Highly proficient in one or more languages from our stack (Java, NodeJS, Python and DotNet)
• Proficient understanding of Azure services PaaS services in general
• Able to use a CI/CD pipeline to deploy applications on AKS.
• Experience with implementing and managing CICD solutions (Jenkins)
• Experience with Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
• Strong experience in automating Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD)
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery planning and execution
• Deep knowledge on application troubleshooting on Azure-AKS.
• Strong communication skills (knows when to reach out for help and works well within the team)
• Conducting testing, updating, and debugging of microservices components
