Job description:
- Assess, provide recommendations, and coordinate the implementation of improvements to the release process
- Working with vendor and DevOps team to manage the overall release strategy and CI/CD pipelines for the platform
- Build cooperation and collaboration with the DevOps team
- Plan and establish release schedule with Product owner and product manager
- Help define and implement pipeline entry and exit criteria
- Manage coordination ofreleases
- Agree minimum requirements for release notes and associated documented, ensure compliance
- Communicating and reporting release content to key stakeholders
- Ensure release repository in ADO is accurately maintained
- Ensure environments are configuration controlled and synchronized
- Communicate and manage risks associated with releases
Required Skills
- In depth knowledge of CI and CD pipelines
- Ansible and Azure DevOps
- Software engineering and branch management
- Communication to all levels of stakeholders
- Self-starting& managing
- Experience in leading development teams
Desirable Skills
Wells and sub-surface experience
DevOps and/or release management certification
Software development certifications
Certification in Agile e.g. Scrum, Kanban or SaFe etc
